The geostationary telecommunication satellite provides:
- fixed communication services, including high-speed telecommunication channels, VSAT data networks, Internet access;
- TV broadcasting services, including video and voice communications and signal distribution, in particular, DTH; multimedia services, including HDTV.
Launch vehicles (developed by Yuzhnoye), as well as Falcon-9, CZ-3B, Ariane-5, Ariane-6, H-IIA launchers are capable to inject the satellite into the geostationary orbit (GSO).
The geostationary communication satellite includes the apogee propulsion system that enables to inject satellite from the geosynchronous transfer orbit to a specified point of location on the GSO.
