Yuzhnoye SDO provides the development of Space Launch Systems (SLS) with different-class Integrated Launch Vehicles (ILV) from formation of a concept to commissioning.
The Space Launch System provides:
- ILV assembly and checkout;
- ILV prelaunch processing and launch;
- complete complex of services for spacecraft (SC).
Stationary-based, mobile-based, air-based or sea-based Space Launch Systems may be created depending on the Customer’s requirements and the ILV design.
The stationary-based SLS is designed for prelaunch processing of light, medium and heavy ILV of both monoblock and booster type. The use of stationary-based SLS allows for single and cluster launches of SC with different mass into circular, synchronous transfer, sun-synchronous orbits, realization of maximum rate of launches with high reliability.

The air-based SLS is designed for prelaunch processing and launch of light ILV. The use of carrier aircraft enables to increase ILV payload capability, ensure launch safety and reduce cost of SC injection. The SLS ground infrastructure can be placed on the existing airdromes.

The sea-based SLS is designed for prelaunch processing and launch of medium ILV. The use of sea launch platform allows for launching from the subequatorial zone to enhance performance capability, ensure launch safety, as ground tracks pass over the densely populated areas.

The mobile-based SLS is designed to launch meteorological rockets with instrumentation to the altitude up to 100 km. The use of the mobile-based SLS enables to launch meteorological rockets from safe areas covering a large area for measurement.

The needed technological equipment may be developed for different types of SLS, including Launch Complex units, filling systems, compressed gas production and supply systems, thermostatic control systems, SC removable equipment and filling technological equipment neutralization units, mechanical technological equipment, unified automated prelaunch processing and launch control system, power supply systems, etc.
