- Space launch systems (ground operations, ascent phase)
- Transport, agricultural machinery, and windmills.
2. Machinery and installations loading analysis; selection of safety margins to ensure the minimum mass for specified reliability and life
3. Machinery and installations stiffness analysis; vibration frequency and mode analysis; shock and vibration protection recommendations
4. Development of software and procedures for analytical and experimental verification of strength.
The analyses use up-to-date packages of finite-element software such as NASTRAN and ANSYS.
These software products feature a wide range of capabilities for building a valid FEM model and performing various analyses: linear and non-linear strength analysis, determination of structural deformation mode, stability analysis, natural frequency and mode analysis, dynamic and frequency response analysis, optimization of structural parameters.
The proposed analytical methods reduce the number of expensive experiments on full-scale structures.
