Yuzhnoye created four generations of liquid-fuel and solid-fuel strategic missile complexes with different basing systems. The most outstanding achievements include the unrivalled missile complex with the 15А18М (SS-18, Satan) liquid-propellant missile and rail-mobile missile complex with the 15Zh61 solid-propellant missile.
