Yuzhnoye SDO quality management system is a constituent part of the enterprise’s general management system. It is intended for enterprise management to ensure conformity to all the specified requirements for products to be developed and services to be provided.

The enterprise top management has formed and pursues Yuzhnoye SDO quality policy that meets the enterprise purposes and environment, supports its activity strategy and provides the basis for quality goals definition.

Field of application of Yuzhnoye SDO quality management system covers all kinds of the enterprise activity on designing, development and production of space rocket hardware, that is:

• designing and development of space rocket hardware;
• experimental and testing operations;
• participation in providing launch services, launch operations support in Yuzhnoye SDO-developed operational phase under contracts;
• designer’s supervision of Yuzhnoye SDO-developed SRH operation;
• production of the electrical ground support equipment from the SLS  Ground Complex;
• manufacture of spacecraft and components of rocket and space rocketry.

The quality management system applicable in Yuzhnoye has been certified to the DSTU ISO 9001, ISO 9001, and EN 9100 standards.

Certificate of Conformity No UA229631 dated April 10, 2020, of  Yuzhnoye SDO Quality Management System for conformity to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 «Quality management systems - Requirements», issued by certification body Bureau Veritas Certification. Certificate validity period is by May 30, 2023.

Yuzhnoye SDO Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity № UK3912017-1 of May 31, 2020 to comply with standard requirements EN 9100 «Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations», issued by Bureau Veritas certification body. Certificate validity period - until May 30, 2023.
