The electrical desalting distilling plant DDP 2/55 is
based on a novel technology of profound evaporation of natural mineralized
waters. The technology foresees utilization of non-isothermal heat-transferring
walls, creation of heat density in these walls of no less than 130 W/cm2
under use of tubular electrical heaters and maintenance of a complex boiling
mode. The technology provides stable self-cleaning of the heat-transferring
wall from a scale formed on it. This excludes any preliminary treatment
of water usually needed to decrease its capability to generate scale,
and allows evaporation of the water to salt content of up to 150 g/l.The
technology elaborated by specialists of Yuzhnoye SDO is unique in the
world.
The plant may be fed from non-traditional power sources,
such as wind power stations, sun converters etc.
Service-friendly air system is used for cooling the condenser.
