The pilot installation for gasification and combustion
of high - ash coal under pressure in circulating boiling layer (CBL) with
the capacity of 1 ton per hour is intended to investigate and test the
gasification of Ukrainian coals in the conditions close to industrial
application. The testing of gasification processes will be performed under
pressure in two modes (0.8 and 2.5 M Pa) at the temperature of 930 °C
on air blast.
The power technologies of processing Ukrainian coals tested with the help
of the installation will allow to create in future the steam-gas installations
with considerable increase of coal processing efficiency. Introduction
of industrial installations will allow to convert to environmentally friendly
technologies of coal processing for the needs of big and small power industry
without the use of natural gas and black oil with the efficiency increased
2.5 - 3 times.
