A bottle consists of two stamped semi-spheres and a connecting pipe with a bimetal adapter. The semi-spheres are made of BT6C, BT14
titanium alloys, 12X18H10T stainless steel and are connected by means of automatic argon-arc welding or automatic welding by tubular
cathode in vacuum. The connecting pipe with bimetal adapter ensures leak-proof connection of the bottle with the steel pipeline of fuel
system. The technological process ensures stable high quality and operational reliability of the bottles with the thickness S=5 - 14 mm
and the diameter of up to 650 mm made of high-strength titanium alloys and stainless steel. The bottles ensure safe storage of gases at
the operating pressure of 220-340 kgf/cm2 including under cryogenic temperatures down to -196 °C. The guaranteed service
life of the bottles is 10-12 years. |
