The family of launch vehicles is created through utilization of common rocket engines, control and measurement systems, ground equipment and other units on the basis of rational combination of technical solutions from both existing and anew developed rocket complexes, implementation of proven production processes and service technology in order to provide high reliability and competitiveness of the transport system as a whole at the world market of launch services.
The family of Mayak launch vehicles is being created on the basis of existing LVs such as Zenit and Cyclone. In the course of creation the following basic principles are realized:
- maximum utilization of earlier used and developed systems and components;
- application of proven technologies. |
