Serviceability of the PPU has been confirmed by flight tests.

The pneumopump unit (PPU) is intended to feed the system of onboard actuators with high-pressure oil. The PPU is driven by gas delivered through a reducer from an onboard pneumatic unit. Composition of the PPU includes a displacement pump, set of valves, damper, volume compensator and pneumatic actuator.

The unit provides high pressure in the oil circuit of actuators at low pressure of the driving gas and is distinguished by small overall dimensions and mass.
