Solid propellant charge - firmly fastened to motor casing with a channel of star shape, made of T9-BK composite propellant. The casing is of organic plastic, of "cocoon" type. The nozzle unit - central stationary control nozzle partially deepened into the combustion chamber with the system of hot chamber gas injection into super - sonic nozzle section (eight stem type valves).
The thrust vector control system ensures control in all three channels (pitch, roll, yaw). The motor has an advantage over the engines with different types of thrust vector control systems for a rocket layout with limitations on the aft bay volume.
The motor is used as rocket first stage sustainer.
