The satellite is intended:
· to provide the services of distribution networks of regional and international
TV and radio broad casting;
· news collection;
· direct TV;
· to provide multimedia and Internet services;
· to transmit data, telephone messages, video conferences and Intranet
based on VSAT.
The satellite weighs 2600 kg and is injected into reference orbit
(Hci÷ = 500 km) and then transfers to geostationary orbit due to the operation
of an electric jet propulsion system.
