The
Earth remote sensing satellite with optoelectronic telescope of meter resolution.
Creation of the satellite is planned by the National Space Program for
2008-2012.
The satellite carries a set of optoelectronic equipment which allows to solve
a number of practical and scientific tasks of regional and local level connected
with the monitoring of vegetation and soils et al..
Information from the satellite will find a wide utility in developing the large-scale
maps and plans, geoinformation systems, planning cities building, laying the
pipelines and cables, building the roads and communication lines.
