Cyclone-3 launch vehicle, developed Yuzhnoye State Design company and built by Yuzhniy machine building plant, continues the series of
Cyclone launchers. The third stage of Cyclone-3 was designed to take the shape of an ampoule, fitted with Yuzhnoye engine and made to
have two ignitions in zero gravity. This feature expands capability of spacecraft injection to a greater extent.
Spacecraft launch is done from Plesetsk range (Russian Federation). Cyclone-3 launcher can inject spacecraft with a mass of up to
4000 kg into low and middle circular and elliptical orbits.
Cyclone03 launch vehicle is a transport system comprising highly reliable, flight-proven technologies. It features the best flight and
operational characteristics traditionally peculiar to the launchers of Cyclone series.
